Drumming has many benefits for children – They love being able to make noise and express themselves.
DrumNation workshops are high octane so are a great opportunity for young people to release their brimming excess energy. Joshes dynamic, engaging and friendly teaching style makes it easy for him to interact with children on their level but in a fun and playful way, not a condescending way and they love his mannerisms and humorous nature.
The workshops are an excellent introduction to music; explaining rhythm in an easily accessible way as well as introducing the effectiveness of different dynamics, empathy for fellow players, the art of leaving space and improving the ability to listen and learn, all of which will stand the student in good stead for any music lessons throughout their schooling days, making it the perfect balance of educational and great fun.
Children will have the opportunity to share their own ideas, bond with their class mates and teachers and enjoy an all round positive group experience.
Workshops can also be tailored to meet requirements of Beaver/Brownies etc music badges, educate children in a new aspect of culture, or be geared towards a showcase to parents to allow them a performance experience maybe for the first time.
